Hello folks, Today the smartphones are available in a very large price range, you can buy a smartphone from 5000 rupees to lacs, but their quality, feature quantity varies accordingly. But consider this case that you are searching for a smartphone and suddenly you get to see a smartphone under 5000, you start looking for its features, and surprise! It provides the same features as 10000+ smartphones, the flagship ones sometimes. Now what would you do, you will definitely buy one. I have been encountering a very specific brand, a lot nowadays, there are a lot of ads going on for this brand. This brand claims to offer very good smartphones at a very suspiciously low price point. If a person who is actively looking for smartphones comes across these ads he will definitely give a try, and so did I.

What is wrong

The ads look so convincing that anybody can be lured very easily. When I first came across this product, I thought that they are making rip offs of some famous smartphones and selling them at a very low price point, and that's a good thing right, I was thinking that, “These guys claim to provide some impossible features in their smartphones, wow!”. I mean we get to buy expensive smartphones at a very low price. But hold on this was not the case at all. When I looked closely at the website, eventually I got the catch. It started to give really bad vibes, as soon as I started exploring their website. Nothing was clear there, and believe me when I say “nothing”. Previously when I looked at the ads I thought they were creating clone smartphones, but I was wrong. They were just copying the ads of other famous smartphones, making some changes to their images, removing the branding from the images of the smartphones, and showing on their website. This website does not have a clear contact number, email or even an address, so once you buy their phones you will have no way to contact them or file a complaint. See for yourself.

The loophole

This site has a lot of models, from mid range phones to a flagship phone. They even have tablets. And everything is below 5000 rupees.

Now tell me do you want to buy these smartphones? I guess not. Because making a fraudulent website and misleading people is not the only thing they are doing, a very small sentence written in small font size says that “All Pictures shown are for Illustration Purpose Only. Actual Product may Vary Due to Continuous Product Enhancement.” So this means they have already told you that you will be getting something, but that might be a brick.

There are victims

Searching on the internet I found that some people actually bought this phone, Some of them got nothing. But Some got very old rusty phones, there are many videos of people showing that this company delivers fake phones, which are old, useless and do not even cost 1000 rupees.

Solution

Please don't get attracted to such frauds and don't waste your money, smartphones have become a part of our life, so do some research before buying something as important as a smartphone. In this lockdown frauds are making different ways to get money out of innocent people, don't be a prey to them.
